2018 Summer Session

Saturday July 7, 2018

Due to extreme temperatures on Saturday from 9am to 4pm, we will be cancelling the following classes:
  • 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM:  TARGET class at Eaton Canyon
  • 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM:  PLAYer class at Eaton Canyon
  • 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM:  PAR class at Altadena
  • 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM:  TEEN class at Altadena
  • 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM:  PLAYer/PAR PLAY League at Altadena
  • 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM:  BIRDIE PLAT League at Altadena
The make-up for these canceled classes will be Saturday, September 1st.
 
Our Tournament League matches at Altadena and Eaton Canyon from 4 PM to 7:30 PM are AS Scheduled as temperatures are expected to lower during that time.   Please note to following:
  • There will be (2) water stations on the course that the participants will be able to get bottled water.
  • Coaches will have bottled water and wet towels on their golf carts.
  • We highly recommend that you provide your child/children with water and sun protection (hat/sunscreen)

 

Sunday July 8, 2018

Classes for Sunday July 8th are AS SCHEDULED.  We understand that the temperatures will be mid-90’s for most of the Sunday classes and our coaching and volunteer staff will be implementing the following Hot Weather Policy when classes are in the 90’s.

Hot Weather Policy

Hot Weather Policy for (1.0) hour class:

  • 5 min of no to moderate movement (Opening)
  • 20 min of activity
  • 10 min break (no activity)
  • 20 min of activity
  • 5 min of no to moderate movement (Closing)

Hot Weather Policy for (1.5) hour class:  

  • 10 min of no to moderate movement (Opening)
  • 30 min of activity
  • 10 min break (no activity)
  • 30 min of activity
  • 10 min of no to moderate movement (Closing)

Hot Weather Policy for (2.0) hour class:  

  • 10 min of no to moderate movement (Opening)
  • 25 min of activity
  • 10 min break (no activity)
  • 30 min of activity
  • 10 min break (no activity)
  • 25 min of activity
  • 10 min of no to moderate movement (Closing)

Our coaching staff will have bottled water, but we highly recommend that you also provide your child/children with water and sun protection (hat/sunscreen).
